Oakham House offers you a refined, intimate and ful-service wededing wenue, right in the heart of Downtown Toronto; at the Oakham House you offer your guests the amenities of a fully restored, finely appointed, and historic setting that is both easy to get to and close to everything.  

Originally constructed in 1848 by renovwned architect Sir William Thomas, the Oakham House has lived several lives; as a personal residence, as a rooming house for young men, and as the centre of student life at the Ryerson Polytechnique.  Today, the Oakham House has been renewed and revived.  In December of 2009 the Oakham House was renovated so as to enhance the natural attributes of this historic building, with exposed brick, lots of natural light, and high wooden beam ceilings, our rooms combine new and old in a clean and contemporary way, one which promises to excite our clients and their guests.  Indeed, the Oakham House is the perfect venue for weddings of up to 120 guests.
