As we say goodbye to the Fall Semester, all of us here at the Oakham Café want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU!  You’re keeping us hopping and busier than ever!   We love being your ‘go-to’ spot to eat on campus.

Last year the Ryerson Student Union did a massive survey of food options on Campus and we were thrilled that you voted us your top choice in every single category! We kicked butt in Quality, Affordability, Freshness and Variety.

We are absolutely committed to offering students superior, nutritious food at great prices because WE’RE STUDENTS TOO! The Oakham Café (and our friends at the Ram in the Rye) are owned and operated by students. Part of your tuition fees go towards the Student Centre, which we give directly back to you by offering well-paid, unionized jobs to students on campus as well as providing healthy, inexpensive fare!

It may surprise you to know that we are actually a not-for-profit, which is why we can offer a full breakfast with antibiotic free, free run eggs and organic coffee for only $4.50!

Follow us on TWITTER @Oakham_Cafe to find out about our daily specials and regular contests to win FREE lunches and other prizes.

So as we approach the winter break, keep us in mind when you want to warm up with a soothing peppermint mocha or yummy crème brulée latte! Look out for mugs and other goodies arriving soon that will be available to purchase with your meal plan card and make for perfect holiday stocking stuffers.

I would like to bring around 10 ‘seniors’ from St. Michael’s Cathedral on the 17th at Noon. Can you accommodate us? Is it tables and chairs versus pick-up and counter eating?
